Each day, you will receive one Daily Quest that requires you do a certain task to complete. These tasks include killing X enemies with a certain type of hero, or completing X missions by a certain type of hero.Once completed, you will earn a minimum of 50 V-Bucks, with only 3 Daily Quests offering more than that amount. Like Daily Challenges, if you don't complete the quest that day, another will be added the next day you log in, with the max amount of three Daily Quests. Method 3: Complete Storm Shield MissionsThe third method to earn V-Bucks is to complete Storm Shield Missions. These are missions in each of the four areas that you unlock as your progress in the main storyline in Save the World. Each area has 6 Storm Shield Missions initially, with the remaining four unlocking as Side Quests (more on that in a bit) as you advance even further in the game. You earn 100 V-Bucks for all but the tenth mission, which earns you 150 V-Bucks.
Method 4: Complete Challenges & Side QuestsSide Quests are another set of quests that can be completed to earn V-Bucks. Not all Side Quests earn you V-Bucks, but those that do can earn you up to 150 V-Bucks.Challenges are unlocked at different times during the main storyline. Challenges can be completed up to 10 times and earn you up to 50 V-Bucks per completion.You can find both Challenges and Side Quests under the Quests tab from the main menu.

Method 5: Participate in EventsEvents are separate quests which provide an abundance of items, including V-Bucks. Method 6: Buy a High-End V-Bucks PackageThe final way to get free V-Bucks is to purchase one of the higher end V-Bucks packages. All packages except the $9.99 package will earn you free V-Bucks. While the $24.99 package doesn't offer a great reward, the $59.99 package provides you an additional $15 worth of V-Bucks. The $99.99 also includes a great deal, offering an additional $35 worth of V-Bucks with your purchase. Please don't fall for any of the "Free V-Bucks" scams. There are several elaborate schemes online that try to trick gamers into believing that getting free V-bucks is possible. If you have a custom recovery installed on your Android device, the first thing you should have done as soon as you finished installing it was to create a Nandroid backup. But if you didn't, I'm not here to judgeâ€”I'm here to show you a much easier way.
What Exactly Is a Nandroid Anyway?The term Nandroid is actually a portmanteau word of the type of memory your phone uses and the software that said memory stores. Flash memory uses NAND (or "Not And") gates to store its data, and the data it's storing in this case is the Android system files.To create a Nandroid backup means to save a snapshot of the state of these NAND gates in order to preserve a copy of your existing Android setup. If your device ever falls victim to a "soft brick" or endless bootloops, you can simply restore this backup, and everything will revert to exactly the way it was before.
How to Create a Nandroid More EasilyThe process of creating a Nandroid backup is a bit of a pain. You have to boot into recovery, then wait until the backup finishes before you can use your phone again. It's for this reason that developer Thomas Otero created Online Nandroid Backup, an app that allows you to make Nandroid backups from within Android.Instead of putting your phone out of commission for a good 30 minutes with the traditional method, you can now tap a button, then go about using your device while a Nandroid backup is created in the background. Step 1: Install Online Nandroid BackupThe app that makes all of this possible is available for free on Google Play. Search Online Nandroid Backup to get it installed, or head to this link to skip directly to the install page.

Step 2: Configure Your Backup SettingsWhen you first launch Online Nandroid Backup, the app will ask for Superuser privileges, so Grant it those.

Choose a Backup NameThen, you can go about the process of configuring the various backup options. First up is Backup Name. Here, you can choose how you'd like your Nandroid to be labeled. The default option of UTC Timezone Name labels the file according to the date on which the backup was performed, and that is probably best for organizational purposes.

Choose a Backup TypeNext, and most importantly, you can set the format in which the backups will be stored. Since different custom recoveries use different formats to store their Nandroids, you'll need to tell the app which recovery you use first.By default, it's set to ClockworkMod, but if you use TWRP, you'll need to set that as your Backup Type.

Choose a Backup ModeAfter that, you can choose which partitions to back up with the Backup Mode option, but the default setting of Normal is probably best.

Choose a Save LocationWith the next entry, you can set the Save Location of your Nandroid backup file. Just make sure its set to a location that you can remember.

Choose a Backup RetentionThe Backup Retention option allows you to set how many backups you'd like to keep before older backups are overwritten in favor of newer ones.Remember, a Nandroid is a copy of your entire system, so these files can be a bit big. For this reason, I'd recommend setting this value to 1 or 2.

Save Your Chosen SettingsAfter that, there are a few options for minor cache and filetype configurations, but these values can be left alone on most setups. When you're done configuring these settings, be sure to hit the Save button at the top-right.

Step 3: Perform a Nandroid BackupWith all of your settings configured, using Online Nandroid Backup will be as easy as pie from here out.To make an exact copy of your system setup as it currently stands, just press Quick Backup from OLB's main screen. A confirmation dialog will appear, and on this screen, hit Start Backup. The backup process takes about the same amount of time as it would in custom recovery. Depending on your device and accumulated data, that could range anywhere from 10 minutes to half an hour.While your backup is being created, you can leave Online Nandroid Backup and go about your day. The app posts an ongoing notification while it's performing the backup, so it won't be cleared from memory by Android. Aside from the one-time setup, this is probably the easiest way to create Nandroids. Android Marshmallow was recently released, and as we've grown to expect, a root method was quickly made available to devices running the brand new operating system. Legendary root developer Chainfire has stated that he's working his way towards retiring from the scene, but he still had enough left in the tank to quickly publish an update to his popular SuperSU root method.Don't Miss: How to Install Android 6.0 on Your Nexus Right Now The process is a bit different this time around, which is a result of Google adding extra SELinux policies and expanding a new security feature called Verity. Nonetheless, you can still get superuser access and all of the cool tweaks that come along with it, so I'll show you how to do it below.
Before You BeginFirst and foremost, you should know that this root method is only intended for use on devices running Android 6.0 Marshmallow (specifically build MRA58K), and as a result of some changes that have been made, is only available for the Nexus 5, 6, 7 (2013), 9, and Player.Secondly, you will need to have a custom recovery installed on your Nexus device to use this root method. You can use this guide to get TWRP recovery installed on your device, but it's recommended that you install the latest version, which is linked below for all applicable devices:TWRP for Nexus 5 TWRP for Nexus 6 TWRP for 2013 Nexus 7 (Wi-Fi) TWRP for 2013 Nexus 7 (3G) TWRP for Nexus 9 Finally, if you're using a Nexus 6 or Nexus 9, it's highly probable that this method will wipe all of the data on your device. This is because a modified boot image (kernel) is required for rooting Android 6.0, which will disable the default encryption on these devices, rendering any existing data useless and forcing a full wipe. If you've already disabled forced encryption on your Nexus 6 or Nexus 9 and made sure to keep your device decrypted while updating, this won't be an issue.
Step 1: Download Necessary FilesWith the prerequisites out of the way, you're ready to get started. First, you'll need to download a custom kernel for your device, which is now a requirement for rooting Android 6.0, since changes have been made to the stock boot image (kernel) that would otherwise prevent rooting.ElementalX is a rock-solid custom kernel that supports root on Android 6.0 and even gives you a few bonus tweaking options, so it's what we'll be using today. To begin, tap one of the following links to download the ElementalX kernel for your respective device:ElementalX for Nexus 5 ElementalX for Nexus 6 ElementalX for 2013 Nexus 7 (Wi-Fi) ElementalX for 2013 Nexus 7 (3G) ElementalX for Nexus 9 (Wi-Fi) ElementalX for Nexus 9 (LTE) Beyond that, all devices can use the same SuperSU ZIP to get root access on Android 6.0. Tap the following link from your Nexus device to grab a copy of Chainfire's root ZIP:SuperSU 2.52 For Marshmallow

Step 2: Flash ElementalX to Enable RootingWith the necessary files downloaded, go ahead and boot your device into custom recovery. To do that, start by powering your phone or tablet completely off. When the screen goes black, press and hold the volume down and power keys simultaneously to enter bootloader mode. From here, press the volume down button twice to highlight "Recovery mode," then press the power button to select it. From TWRP's main menu now, go ahead and press the "Install" button. Next, navigate to your device's Download folder, then select the ElementalX kernel file that you downloaded in Step 1. From here, simply swipe the slider at the bottom of the screen to install the kernel, and when that's finished, tap the home button in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Step 3: Flash SuperSU to Get Root AccessNow that you have a modified boot image/kernel, the rest of the rooting process will be exactly the same as it was with previous Android versions. To begin, tap the "Install" button from TWRP's main menu and navigate to your Download folder again. From here, select the BETA-SuperSU-v2.50.zip file and swipe the slider at the bottom of the screen to install it. When that's finished, tap the "Reboot System" button to wrap things up.

Step 4: Verify RootWhen you get back up, your device should be fully rooted. To verify this, download an app called Root Checker from developer joeykrim.Install Root Checker for free from the Google Play Store Once you've installed the app, simply open it up and tap "Verify Root." From here, tap "Grant" when prompted to give the app superuser access, and if everything went off without a hitch, you should see a message saying "Congratulations!
