News: Huawei Teases P20 Announcement Date in New Videos
It looks like the Huawei P20 has moved from rumor to all but confirmed. Thanks to a series of YouTube videos released by Huawei Mobile Netherlands, we now have a few confirmations about the latest entries in the flagship series.The four promotional videos all focus on the camera which, is rumored to include the first triple-lens setup for smartphones. While the video doesn't show the hardware, each video title gives us some indication of its capabilities — including great low-light performance, optical image stabilization, fast shutter speed, and machine learning enhancements. We also know that the phone will be co-designed by Leica, a high-end camera company.
Additionally, each video ends with the date of March 27, 2018, the rumored (and now confirmed) announcement date for the new P series lineup. We're also greeted with the official name of the device, Huawei P20, which deviates slightly from the previous naming scheme.Finally, the website NewRenaissance.com is displayed, which takes you a Huawei page with the promotional videos and testimony of satisfied Huawei customers.
